On the Eve of His passing, the Cardinal who was Prefect of the Doctrine of Faith became the new Pope and it was certain to me that His Pontificate was not at an end, but a succession. Pope Benedict XVI delivered a continued succession of His Office designated by His Holiness Pope John Paul II. And now, he has passed on this succession to Gorge Cardinal Borgoglio, Pope Francis.
It is announced that Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI has entered into Eternal Rest.
